My Background and Approach

I have spent over 25 years successfully collaborating with and helping thousands of individuals find work and working environments that bring meaning, professional growth, challenge and satisfaction to their lives. My background includes serving as Vice President of Career Services for Right Management Consultants and Director of Career Services for Kaiser Permanente California. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Wake Forest University.

My approach is holistic. I incorporate a historical perspective, building on where a client has been and where they aspire to be. Knowing most of our waking hours are spent working, I diligently try to balance business interests, knowledge, education, financial needs and personal priorities. If your relationship with work is not working, it impacts the quality of your relationships, lifestyle, confidence and focus. I am a supportive, strategic consulting partner and coach who help clients address hard issues, emotional barriers, and critical conversations associated with career and work to achieve
their goals and objectives.

I create a positive collaborative framework and learning environment for writing resumes and marketing communications, developing and strengthening professional networks, defining and implementing a strong marketing strategy, creating and optimizing a professional image for the work you are seeking, interviewing to showcase your experience and demonstrate your skills, talent, competencies and potential contributions and embracing change and finding challenge in the new and unknown rather than fearing it.
